Undergraduate Courses in English A wide variety of courses is offered in the International Business and Management Studies (IBMS) program. Students may enroll in a full semester (two terms) for 30 ECTS units or 15 semester hours of credit; this may represent as many as nine courses. Students may also enroll for one term in Term 1, Term 3 or Term 4 for 15 ECTS units or 8 semester hours of credit. Such students may wish to enroll in online courses and/or independent study projects through their home institution in order to earn a full load of credit. Please email the Magellan Exchange office and indicate your interest in this option in your application essay. Classes typically include lectures, individual and group assignments, discussions and presentations. Intermediate exams are given in some courses, but in other classes there may only be a final examination or project. Special arrangements are made for final examinations when there are calendar differences between schools.
